Policies

The rules, in plain English.

Most cleaning companies bury this in a contract you never see. Ours is one page, written the way I'd explain it to you on the phone. If anything here isn't clear, call me and I'll talk you through it.

Cancellations & access Damage & breakage Privacy
01

Cancellations, rescheduling and getting in.

We hold a specific slot for you and pay a cleaner for that slot whether or not the clean happens. That's the whole reason this policy exists — it isn't a penalty, it's covering someone's wages.

Cancelling or rescheduling

If we can't get in

If we arrive and can't access the home — nobody there, a lock we weren't told about, a gate code that's changed, a dog we weren't warned about — we'll call you immediately and wait fifteen minutes. If we still can't get in, it's charged as a half visit.

Easiest way to never deal with this: give us a code, a key or a lockbox. Most of our clients aren't home when we clean.

Skipping a visit on a recurring schedule

Ending service

There's no contract and no cancellation fee. Tell us you're done and you're done. Anything you've paid ahead and not used comes straight back to you.

None of this is meant to be rigid. Life happens, and if something comes up we'll work it out — just tell us as early as you can so we can fill the slot.

02

If we break something.

We're fully insured, and we'd rather tell you about a problem than have you find it. If we break something, you'll hear it from us first — usually in the photo report before you're even home.

How it works

Things we won't touch

Some things aren't worth the risk to either of us, so we leave them alone unless you specifically ask:

If something in your home is precious, tell us and we'll skip it entirely. Put it in your notes when you book, or say it on the phone. We'd much rather leave a shelf undusted than break something that can't be replaced.

Pre-existing damage

Old houses have scratched floors, chipped tile and loose fixtures. Our after-photos document the state of each room, which protects both of us. If we notice something already damaged, we'll mention it rather than quietly work around it.

03

What we do with your information.

We're a small local company, not an advertising business. The short version: we collect what we need to clean your house and talk to you about it, and nothing else.

What we collect

What we do with it

What we don't do

We don't sell your information to anybody, ever. We don't share it with advertisers, lead brokers or data companies. The only people who see it are me and the cleaner assigned to your home.

Photos of your home

We photograph rooms after every clean so you can see the work. Those photos are yours — we won't post any photo of your home publicly without asking you first, every time. If we'd like to use a before-and-after in an ad, we'll ask, and no is a perfectly fine answer that changes nothing about your service.

Texts and calls

We text you about your appointments — confirmations, arrival windows, photo reports. Reply STOP at any time and we'll stop, though you'll then need to call for scheduling. We don't send marketing blasts.

Access information

Gate codes, lockbox numbers and keys are kept only where they're needed for scheduling and are never shared outside the person cleaning your home. When you stop service, ask and we'll delete them.

Getting your information removed

Email [email protected] and ask, and we'll delete everything except what we're legally required to keep for tax records. No form, no runaround.

Questions about any of this? Call or text me at (864) 940-2137. I'm the one who answers.
